Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of the website and farm management application operated under the MyGoatHerd name (“MyGoatHerd,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Eligibility and authority
You must be at least 18 years old, able to form a binding agreement, and authorized to accept these terms for any farm or organization you represent.
Accounts and farm administration
Provide accurate information, protect credentials, and manage farm members responsibly. Farm registration may require approval, and an application does not guarantee approval.
Acceptable use
Use MyGoatHerd only lawfully. Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, access data without permission, upload malicious code, overload the service, or violate another person's rights.
Your farm data
You retain your rights in content you provide and permit MyGoatHerd to process it as needed to operate and support the service. You are responsible for its accuracy, legality, permissions, and any records or backups your business requires. See the Privacy Policy.
Service availability and changes
The service may be interrupted or changed, features may be added or removed, and reasonable limits may apply. An internet connection is required to load and save farm records.
Trials and paid plans
Trial timing, Free-plan limits, current prices, and plan terms are shown during registration and before purchase. Trials require no payment and do not automatically create a paid subscription. Existing Charter or manual arrangements remain subject to their agreed terms.
Payment and cancellation
Paid access begins after payment confirmation. Recurring plans renew until canceled unless checkout states otherwise. Cancellation stops future renewals; charges already paid are ordinarily nonrefundable except where required by law or expressly agreed.
Suspension and termination
We may reject, suspend, limit, or terminate access for nonpayment, violations, security or legal risk, abuse, or harm. You may stop using the service at any time and contact support about deletion.
MyGoatHerd intellectual property
MyGoatHerd's software, design, branding, and service materials belong to us or our licensors. You receive a limited right to use the service for its intended purpose.
Third-party services
Hosting, storage, email, payments, links, and other third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
Disclaimers
MyGoatHerd is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, and is not a substitute for legal, tax, veterinary, registry, or other professional recordkeeping advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for indirect or consequential losses is excluded and total liability is limited to the greater of amounts paid in the prior 12 months or 100 U.S. dollars. Some jurisdictions may not permit every limit.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify MyGoatHerd for claims arising from your content, misuse, violation of these terms, or violation of another person's rights.
Governing terms
These terms and applicable additional terms form the agreement. Unenforceable provisions do not affect the rest. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, the terms are governed by the laws that apply at the MyGoatHerd operator's principal place of business and proceedings must be brought in a court with jurisdiction there. Non-waivable legal rights remain unaffected.
Changes to these terms
Revised terms will be posted with a new effective date, with additional notice for material changes when appropriate. Stop using the service if you do not accept revised terms.
