  • Getting started

How do I get started with MyGoatHerd?

Go to the registration page to create your farm. Choose a farm address, create the owner account, and provide an email for account recovery. When approval is required, wait for the platform admin to approve the farm before signing in.

  • Getting started

Why can’t I sign in after registering my farm?

Whether a new self-registered farm needs review depends on the platform’s current approval policy. A pending farm cannot sign in yet; automatically approved farms can sign in as soon as registration finishes. If the farm was rejected or suspended, the sign-in message explains the status; contact the platform administrator if you need a review.

  • Getting started

How do the free trial and pricing work?

Every new farm receives a free trial with no payment required. The trial begins when the farm is activated: an automatically approved farm starts immediately, while a pending farm starts after approval. There is no Free-plan goat cap during the trial. After the trial, the current Free limit and Monthly and Annual terms are shown on the pricing page. Access requests do not automatically charge or activate a paid plan. Existing manual arrangements remain unchanged.

  • Getting started

How are goats counted after the trial, and when should I upgrade?

The Free plan counts on-farm and boarded goats only. Sold, deceased, and other off-farm goats are excluded. The current Free cap is shown in your farm and on the pricing page. If a trial ends above that cap, records become read-only until the counted herd is reduced or access is manually arranged. Online payments are coming soon, so there are no automatic charges or automatic paid activation.

  • Goats

How should I use goat statuses and lactation fields?

Use sex, health, herd, breeding, and lactation fields for their separate purposes. It does not bulk-update multiple goat records.
