Information we collect
We collect account information, farm and herd records you choose to enter, basic usage and technical information, billing status provided by our payment provider, and messages or information you provide to support. Our payment provider handles complete payment card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure MyGoatHerd, organize farm and herd records, provide requested features, process subscriptions, send service messages, answer support requests, diagnose problems, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use farm or herd records for advertising.
Service providers and disclosures
We use providers to host and operate the application, store uploaded files, deliver email, and process payments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, address fraud or security issues, or as part of a business transfer. Authorized farm members can access their farm's information according to their roles.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in, session security, preferences, installation and updates, and certain in-progress work. Clearing them may sign you out or remove local preferences and drafts.
Retention
We retain information as needed to provide the service, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or required records.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, including role-based access and secured sessions, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can review and update much of your information in MyGoatHerd, manage team access according to your role, control browser storage, and use available billing tools. Contact support for help accessing, correcting, or deleting information.
Children
MyGoatHerd is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Policy updates
We may update this policy and will post the revised policy here with a new effective date. We may provide additional notice for significant changes.
